Edit text in image

Edit text baked into a finished image. Select the words, type the replacement, and keep nearby style as closely as the model can when generation is open.

Change text in image tool

Generation is not open yet. You can upload and draw a selection box; Detect and Generate stay off until base KIE (flux-2 pro i2i) is enabled.

Edit without a design file

When you only have the exported PNG or JPG, open the editor, draw a box around the words, and enter new copy. Empty New text removes the words and fills background when generation runs.

Same tool as the homepage

This page embeds the same ChangeText AI editor. Upload, select, and prepare an edit here, then sign in for trial credits when generation is available.

FAQ

How do I edit text in a picture without Photoshop?

Upload the finished picture here, draw a box around the words, type the new text, and generate when the feature is open. You do not need a PSD, Figma file, or layered project — the tool redraws the selected region on the raster image.

Will the new text match the old font?

We aim for best-effort style match on weight, color, and local texture. We do not recover the original .ttf or .otf file. Handwriting, strong perspective, and curved signs may need a second pass.

Can I edit text in image online on mobile?

Yes. The editor runs in the browser. Use a clear PNG, JPG, or WebP under 20 MB. On small screens, upload first, then adjust the selection box before you generate.
